Hotel.my respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It is aligned with the principles of Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
Information we collect
- Booking details — name, email, phone, and stay dates you provide to make a reservation.
- Payment information — card payments are collected and processed by Nuitée Travel, our booking and payment partner (the merchant of record), not by Hotel.my. To complete your booking we share your name, email and stay details with Nuitée and the accommodation provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data — searches, pages viewed, device and browser information.
- Cookies — small files that remember your searches and preferences.
How we use it
- To process and confirm your bookings with our travel partners.
- To improve our search results and personalise your experience.
- To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share the booking details necessary to fulfil your reservation with the relevant accommodation provider or travel supplier. We do not sell your personal data. Service providers who help us operate the platform are bound by confidentiality.
